A chance for pre-schoolers to engage with nature and explore our Forest School site (complete with large covered area for wet days)! Children can enjoy bug hunting, creating mud pies in our mud kitchen, craft activities, storytime and more!
A free cup of tea or coffee is available for adults while they are on the site.
The sessions will be led by our Forest School Leader; however children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times during the session. Wellington boots and waterproof clothing or old clothes - with long sleeves and long trousers or leggings - are essential.
The sessions are suitable for little ones who are walking, up to the age of 4 (no older siblings please).
£5 per child, per session. Adults (and babies in arms) are free.
This year's sessions will run on the following dates: 12th & 27th March, 9th & 24th April, 14th & 22nd May, 11th & 26th June, 9th & 24th July, 13th & 28th August, 10th & 25th September, 8th & 23rd October
We don't allow dogs on the Forest School site.
A snack & drink will be supplied, however if your child has any allergies please supply your own snack.
The entrance to the Forest School site is accessed via our top car park (near the top of the stairs), there will be someone to meet you when you arrive and show you the way to the Forest School site from there.
