Becoming an annual member of Batsford offers a whole host of benefits, making it a cost-effective way to visit our Arboretum and a number of other local attractions.


  • Free entry to Westonbirt Arboretum near Tetbury, Bodenham Arboretum in Worcestershire, Bedgebury Arboretum in Kent and now Sir Harold Hillier Gardens in Hampshire. (Please note; normal entry fee applies to children of members from these gardens).
  • Free entry for accompanying children of Batsford members (aged 16 years and under);
  • 5% off purchases in the arboretum gift shop (excluding confectionary, drinks and already discounted goods and Roger the Woodturner), garden centre purchases (excluding confectionary, gift tokens and already discounted goods)
  • 10% off tickets for the Cotswolds Falconry Centre
  • 5% discount on photography courses or photoshoots with Alastair Currill Photography from nearby Bourton on the Water. 

Valid for 12 months from the day of purchase, Batsford membership costs £35 per person (£30 for concessions).

Note for existing Batsford members regarding COVID-19: If you held an exising Batsford membership when we closed the arboretum on 22nd March 2020 to 31st May 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic, you will be offered a 10 week extension on your membership when you renew, this offer will expire on 31st July 2021.

Guest membership

Members of Batsford who’d like to bring a guest to the arboretum regularly are entitled to buy a guest membership from us which is valid for 12 months with the same expiry date as the main membership card holder (guest memberships are also available any time of year on a pro rata basis).

Each guest pass admits one person who must be accompanied by the Batsford member.  The pass is valid only for visits to Batsford and other membership benefits do not apply. Guest memberships costs £35 per person (no concessions apply).
