As charity we take our education responsibilities very seriously and believe knowledge will secure beautiful environments like Batsford for the future.

Schools

Education is a key part of our work at Batsford and we welcome local school children to come along and explore the arboretum. We have a large Education Centre that schools are welcome to hire – please see our Education Centre page for more details.

Arboretum entry for schools is £3.00 per person, including adults.

Adult Education

Local gardening clubs, horticultural and allotment societies are regularly invited to lectures about aspects of gardening including composting and top gardening tips.  If you’re a member of a local club or society and would be interested in coming along to one of our lectures, please contact Laura at marketing@batsfordfoundation.co.uk
