Terms of Entry
To ensure that all our visitors have a pleasurable visit and for your safety please observe the following on your visit to Batsford Arboretum:
- Please keep children under supervision at all times. Children under 14 will not be permitted without an adult.
- We welcome well behaved dogs to the arboretum, please keep them on a short lead at all times (extendable leads are not permitted) and clean up after them – waste can be placed in any of the litter bins around the garden.
- Ensure you have appropriate sturdy outdoor footwear.
- Please keep to footpaths during and after wet weather.
- Climbing trees and rocky outcrops is not permitted.
- Please don’t enter water courses, ponds or lakes.
- Some of the berries, fruits or leaves may be poisonous and must not be eaten.
- It is not permitted to play ball games or ride bicycles, balance bikes, scooters, roller skates or blades, skateboards or sledges in the arboretum.
- We do not allow barbeques or picnicking in the arboretum.
- Permission must be obtained for all filming and photography for commercial purposes.
- The use of drones and other flying objects is prohibited.
- Please note there is no provision for secure left luggage.
- The Batsford Foundation cannot except responsibility for loss or damage of property or vehicles in the carparks.
- If you are a member of one of our partner gardens—Westonbirt Arboretum, Bodenham Arboretum, or Sir Harold Hillier Gardens—please show your membership card at our admissions desk to enjoy free entry into the arboretum. Kindly note that we cannot verify your membership with these gardens, as our databases are not connected. If you arrive without your partner garden membership card, you will need to pay for entry to the arboretum. Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds retrospectively.
